870 Mag extension

A friend is looking for a good quality 12 gauge magazine extension for an 870. Please advise.

I like and use the +2 from Wilson Combat. The kit comes with a new spring and follower also.

Wilson combat or Nordic components. I have used both for years with no issues. I have the a WCST 870 std model and the Nordic is on a Rem 1100 Tac.

So on this note... I just picked this poor little abused guy up. Its a wingmaster someone sawed off the barrel. Came through the store. I had to throw the barrel away. ( to short ) so is just the Remmington mag extension acceptable. ? and yes ... its days as a duck gun are probably over. I have another wingmaster that the wood from this one will go on.

I have a Wilson +2 on my 870 and it is very sturdy, but also adds weight at the very end of the gun. I haven't used any other extensions, but the Wilson is very durable.

Vang Comp +2 extension with sling attachment, just because Hans is a good dude and has worked on 870's before Wilson ever bought Scattergun Technologies...

Thanks for the positive review of the Wilson extension. I've been thinking about the OEM extension and could not find one in stock and the price was a little high. I expect Wilson's extension will be just fine

I'm just looking for a plus 2 so Wilson will work. Also looking for a second 870 so maybe in the future. Thanks for pointing out another option
