Springfield Custom Shop TRP

As my first real post, I figured I would offer up one of my favorite pieces in my collection....and by far the most customized.
This started life as a off the Shelf Springfield TRP which I bought as a beater .... well I couldn’t leave well enough alone so off it went to Springfield Armory Custom Shop for a very extensive make over:
-flatten top of slide and serrate
-serrate rear of slide
-ball end mill cuts
-Carry cuts to remove front cocking serrations
-10-8 performance bushing
-Cylinder and Slide GI Spec recoil plug
-Wilson Combat Flat wire recoil spring and guide rod
-flush cut and reverse crown barrel
-gold bead front sight
-10-8 performance rear sight
-10-8 slide stop
-flush cut /FBI nub slide stop pin
-Cylinder & Slide thumb safety
-10-8 Magazine catch
-Wilson Combat Concealment beavertail grip safety
-Harrison spur hammer (modified/bobbed)
-Harrison medium LOP trigger
-SACS internal trigger components
-high radius cut front strap
-Nighthawk one piece magwell
-10-8 GI spec grip screws

Top off with custom made (blue printed to the frame) elephant ivory stocks

The entire gun was polished and Finished in IonBond DLC

Great looking pistol. The nice thing with 1911's is that even if you don't like certain modifications you can still admire the completed pistol, both in looks and craftsmanship.

I need to go check the shop work list. SACS stopped doing almost everything several years back.
