Countering Mobile Violence Course (CMVC) 30JAN-01FEB19

January 30 @ 08:00 - February 1 @ 17:00 MST

Lighthorse Tactical, LLC

Please register by 23JAN19.

This is a tactics course designed to equip LE Officers and SWAT Medics with the collective skills to effectively move against, contain and eliminate violent, mobile criminal activity.

Through the use of aggressive teamwork, tactics (exterior & interior) and maneuver, small LE elements CLOSELY supported by tactical medical personnel can have a decisive effect on the mobility and carnage caused by violent offenders.

We work out of vehicles in this course utilizing a 4-person cell. This is an LE/FD integration course working from police vehicles. This course integrates SWAT Medics into the vehicle cells. Other topics covered are task organization, leadership positions, vehicle tactics, team movement techniques, work priorities and decision making. This is NOT an active shooter course, but the concepts and components would lend themselves to AS response.

We conduct mock pursuits, simulated ambushes, medical treatment and evacuation (based on the training location).

When possible, we will deploy volunteer role players that are NOT part of the attending Officers.

Attendees must bring a 4-person vehicle that can get a little color (marking cartridges) on it. This will be an LE/FD integration course working from police vehicles.
