Belt Recommendations for EDC?

If you want a thinner alternative, I've been wearing a First Spear First Line Belt and I have been pretty happy with its capability to hold up my pants. Its a good alternative when wearing shorts or pants that aren't as thick material/have beltloops cannot accommodate a MGL thick ass belt. I have a shooters belt from MGL that provides the thick belt when I want it and the First Spear when I don't need to use my belt as a cane.

I usually just have a Philster Spotlight w/ soft loops on both belts at the 3 o'clock. Both provide the support needed.

I like the stiffness of the Ares Gear Aegis Enhanced belt, and the style of the buckle offers lots of adjustment but the buckle is also very large and will beat holes in any untucked shirt. So, I'm looking for a different belt to try myself.
100% Blue Alpha Gear. Hybrid EDC is my preference, but your experience with buckles sounds different than mine.

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm in the same boat as the OP. Has anyone looked into the new Magpul belts? I dont mind nylon, but the velco on the Blue Alpha isn't my favorite and the same with the Graith.

I do like the look of the Ageis but I have a feeling the buckle will be too big for me...

Any 1.75” belt recommendations other than the Volund? Ive been very happy with mine but after 2 years some of the stitching for the loops have come out and it’s almost time for a replacement

I have an update on what I ended up getting. I did buy the Vdev group belt, but in the wrong size. I ordered a large when I should have ordered a medium. The large was still too big for me tightened all the way down. The belt overall was floppier than I would have liked as well, coming from the riggers belt I had been wearing.

I then ordered a Graith Specialist, and after getting one in a size that fit me, I've been wearing it every day as a normal belt (not carrying anything yet), and I don't have any complaints about it yet. However, I do have some advice for those who don't know what size to order as the sizing guide isn't great. The size you order is the minimum size of the belt, so the 40 I originally ordered has a minimum real waist measurement of 40" and goes up from there. I exchanged it for a 38, but I should have gone with a 36, as it has about 8" of usable adjustability, the 38 just fits me currently, without putting anything else in my waistline. If you are using a tailor's tape measure to measure your waist or an existing belt, subtract 2" from the measurement for the size belt you order so that you have some adjustability to go a little tighter if you want.

Ares Gear user. Not familiar with a lot of others, but grabbed one of these on a recommendation and it works. $100 ish.
