I recently bought the Plan B for the Omega 9k, as well as a number of cherry bomb muzzle devices. My reason for going with them was similar to others, a somewhat QD system with less length and weight added compared to other systems. I intend on using the suppressor on 9mm PCCs and a few 300 blackout rifles. I have only used it with a 4" 9mm AR so far, but the install of the muzzle devices and plan B itself was very simple and straight-forward. I have heard that the muzzle device alone is quite uncomfortable, but honestly I never intend to use them without the suppressor on, so I won't be much help there.
I do not have enough use with them yet to give a very useful opinion, but for install and initial impressions, I have been happy. I will be doing more shooting with the blackout in the next week or so, and I can give an update when I do. As a simple yes/no answer to your question, I would recommend continuing with your plan of using the plan b and associated mounts. They seem to fit especially well with cans like the vox line that are lightweight, as well as offering a very effective sacrificial baffle with minimal weight/length penalties.
